Self Care Is Important Woman's History Month Edition
Here’s the first of two Women’s History Month events I wanted to share. This one is about self-care. If you’re a real life friend of mine you know that I stress self care more than anything. I’ve always known that if I wasn’t well mentally, physically and spiritually then no one around me could be. It’s one of the reasons I have continued to practice Yoga. So that said, I was amped when I came across this event in Brooklyn for Women’s History Month focusing on self care and Yoga.
March 14 –Yoga and Juice Workshop with Johari Mayfield & Joy Jermin of House of Juice
Finding Balance Inside and Out
Through movement and correct eating, women are able to recharge, rejuvenate and revive themselves on both the spiritual and cellular plane. This workshop will take a moment to identify balance for each participant through the participation in a yoga practice and then how to revive the cells through a juicing demonstration.
*Participants should bring a mat and comfortable clothes for this workshop.
The event is being held by Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy and you should go out and enjoy it. For more information and location visit their site Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy. I’m going to do my best to be there too!
